Hi, My Name is Madison Payne

I am a recent graduate of (you guessed it) UT Austin, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Radio-Television-Film with a minor in Business. Growing up, I was absolutely obsessed with making videos, which sparked my desire to perfect every step of the production process—from cinematography to editing. This passion eventually led me to purchase my first real camera, and, in the process, I accidentally fell in love with photography.

In high school, I jumped at every opportunity to shoot, specializing in senior portraits, weddings, and family photos. I also expanded into corporate videography, creating content for small businesses across Texas. These experiences shaped me into a versatile filmmaker, blending technical expertise with creative vision.

Recently, I returned from two internships in Los Angeles.  At an ad agency, I worked as a video intern, editing content for YouTube’s social media channels, which boast a following of over 30 million. I also had the opportunity to explore my passion for storytelling as a production assistant in documentary development at an unscripted production company.

My lifelong career goal is to create compelling content in-house for a brand or contribute to the world of unscripted television. In the meantime, I am back in Austin, and I’m pursuing freelance work. I am always excited to collaborate with new clients please reach out and lets make your vision come to life.
