FAQ

When Should I Book My Session?

I recommend booking your session as early as possible! With the tower under construction and students from all grades rushing to get their photos done, securing your spot sooner is always better. March is the ideal time for photos—there are fewer crowds, and the weather is typically more favorable. In contrast, May tends to be the busiest, and April often brings cloudy and rainy days. Don’t wait—book your session now to ensure the best experience!

Explain what you mean by delivering raw images, and how many will I receive?

As a photographer dedicated to ensuring client satisfaction, I provide access to all unedited images from your session. Typically 300 to 1,000 photos, depending on the shoot's duration. You can download and keep any or all, with the option to select favorites for editing later, ensuring a complete archive of your special moments.

Can we choose which photos you will edit?

As someone who's super picky about how I look in photos, I totally get how important it is to have control over choosing your favorites. That’s why I make sure you love your photos by letting you pick them out yourself. After the shoot, I’ll send you a private gallery so you can select your favorites in the comfort of your own home. Depending on your package, you can send me your selections, and I’ll handle the editing from there!

How many people can be in a group session?

As many as you'd like! Whether it’s sorority sisters, classmates, or your organization, I’m happy to accommodate. My only advice is to book early to secure your spot before things get too busy!

Do you shoot at schools other than UT Austin?

Yes! I’d love to shoot grad portraits at other colleges in Texas, especially SMU or TCU (my family is in Dallas). If you’re interested in booking a session outside of Austin, feel free to reach out through my contact info—I’d be thrilled to make it happen!

What goes into the editing process?

As someone who absolutely loves editing, I pour my heart and soul into making every photo truly unique. For all base packages, I provide color grading and minor adjustments. For larger packages, I go the extra mile by retouching skin, Photoshopping out background distractions, enhancing hair and makeup, and perfecting the overall color grading. If there's something specific you'd like adjusted, let me know, and I'll do my very best to exceed your expectations!
